Meet Adriel Joy

The only thing I have ever wanted to be is a writer. From a young age, I immersed myself in all kinds of books, devouring stories and learning from every page. By the age of 12, I submitted a story for publication, which was featured in a national Christian magazine, and I knew I had found my path. Writing has been my lifelong goal, and the fact that I now make a living doing that, alongside exploring other creative avenues through photography, marketing, and storytelling, is both humbling and deeply fulfilling.

Over the past 25 years, I have honed my skills as a writer and novelist, while also spending 15 years behind the camera as a photographer and more than a decade shaping brands and marketing campaigns that tell compelling stories. My work spans copywriting, content creation, brand development, and storytelling across digital and print platforms. I have earned 11 MarCom Platinum and Gold Awards and was honored with the Direct Selling News Excellence in Social Media Award for my innovative campaigns and creative direction.

Four years ago, I launched my own marketing business, Adriel Joy LLC, to help more people achieve their dreams and grow their companies. This venture has allowed me to use my talents in new ways, grow professionally and personally, and explore new industries, platforms, and creative strategies. Running my own business has given me firsthand insight into the challenges of entrepreneurship, making me better equipped to support smaller companies and help them succeed. Along the way, I have built a solid social media following that teaches me every day while giving me the opportunity to connect with people I would never meet in real life. This experience has further expanded my skill set and allows me to help others grow their own social media presence effectively.

Creativity for me is also about connection, impact, and action. I founded a nonprofit to put love into motion, supporting families through crises including the COVID-19 pandemic, Hurricane Harvey, the recent Austin floods, and Hurricane Milton. My work has provided food and clean water to countless families across Central Texas, coordinated disaster relief supplies and funds nationwide, and offered tools to help people regain stability, such as workplace-appropriate clothing and resume assistance. Every effort is guided by a simple philosophy: give, serve, and do. Love is not just a feeling—it is action.

I have also been deeply involved in my community, serving as a Committeeman for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and participating in the Young Professionals committee for the Houston Heights Chamber of Commerce. Photography has been another creative outlet, and in 2011 I launched my own photography business, earning sponsorships with events like the Crawl for Cancer and a notable stint shooting for the MLB. In 2022, I released my first novella on Kindle Vella, adding "author" to my creative repertoire. My experience also extends to public speaking, coaching, counseling, and producing events on both small and large scales.

I strive to live a life full of creativity, service, and meaningful work. Every project I take on, every story I write, and every act of giving reflects my dedication to making a positive impact and connecting with people in ways that truly matter.
